is ecu remap lta compliance?

any recommendation of workshop who does this at reasonable fee, was quoted at $800 for a remap of ecu of a renault d4f clio engine.

Yes you are free to remap your ecu. However, it may void your warranty (if any)

Subaru TS can go upto 180km/h (not in sg) with minor upgrade e.g spark plug, air filter, fuel booster but the engine was in stress and not the driver or the chassis, the car still steady! Smooth driving should at 140~160km/h even in 70 degree connering(don't try in sg)! If need obvious improvement then should go 2.5l engine block (that i don't dare to do [rolleyes] ) and please upgrade brake system & suspension too!

My prev car is a subaru ts 06 manual. Have to say that Ts is really very slow in pickup ....u ask me ....think some van and lorry also can outrun my car.But from speed 90k/m and above it can really perform...Max speed i drive in NS is around 185k/m and can even hold for more than 5min and still feel very stable.

Sorry.. Question with no link.. But why do JDM cars have a speed cap of 180km/h on the meter?

its a LAW for car manufacturers in japan to put speed cap. so all jdm models have this speed cap already inbuilt into their ecu.
