So can i right to say, No. 1 to No. 3 is correct? I just remember and follow what i have written from No. 1 to No. 3?

Thanks alot as i only drove once to Malacca following behind my friend's car. No experience driving into Malaysia before. I have not been to JB for so many years except that drive in Malacca last nov.

Many thanks.

hi dieodleo, may be time to get a GPS. can use for Spore as well as Malaysia. i find them indispensable and a must-have nowadays [thumbsup] . alternatively, you may want to look up google map Malaysia to seek the direction you want [:)].

I jz went last Thu and spend a nite till vesak day..

Stayed at the holiday chalet. 1 wooden hut 2 rms.. though abit run down but feel quite ok as I used to stay in kampong in the early days..

Generally, the road trip thr was ok.. jz follow directional signs to kota tingi, then desaru.. the road will get to 1-lane and w/out street light, so drive carefully.. jz follow the sign carefully and will get u thr..

Nx up for me, to Malacca on early Jul..

Am i right? Some said after the customs, keep left and turn left before the bridge, and right turn under that bridge. Can you explain this part? Cos i remember after chopping our passports, we travel straight up a slope then we will reach a Y road, one is turn left and one is turn right. so sorry..... I am really confuse.

thanks.

actually both exits oso can. normally i take right exit, then keep left, but don't turn left to Bandaraya JB

u will see shell petrol at left side, go straight(don't go up to the bridge), turn right at the traffic light under the bridge

after few metre u will join to Tebrau Highway when u passing BP petrol at ur left

Yup like what others say. Better for u to get a GPS & learn how to use it properly b4 u go.

It wil bring u to the doorstep & u can even explore the surrounding place like food & interesting things to do & see without fear of getting lost.

U wil enjoy your trip even more as u have the freedom to really see & do as much as u want.

Also getting there & back wil b a breeze. Less stressful for u.

Or at least get a few good maps to guide u around, provided u r good at reading maps.

 sister?! way to go sister! just take the car and drive up north! there is plenty to see and explore (not to mention, cheap too!) go to ipoh(spectacular view from the highway), penang or even further. that's how a car should be driven and enjoyed! but drive safe and remember to take the required rest

A very nice N relexing drive with beautiful scenery along the way.

We usually stop along the way for makan & maybe spend 1 night in Kuantan at Swiss Garden b4 proceeding to Kenyir.

Agree to plan a nite in Kijal/ Swiss Garden..

I cheong-ed all the way to Kenyir early this year and found it a tad stretched for comfort (esp, if you are the sole driver) [rolleyes]

Spent too much time shopping in Kuantan town, and missed last light arriving @ kenyir.. hope they have patched the crater-like potholes uphill to kenyir..
