Car Rental Scam! Beware!

I also posted my car for sale for 3 months. Recently i received sms like "can i take over your car loan?"

I though sure...I will get your details and go to the bank together and transfer the balance loan to him. The bank of course must review his finanacial status before granting the loan. After so much, then I realise what he mean by take over the loan.

 

It means they will pay my the monthly instalments, road tax, insurance etc. The car is still my name and he will just take and drive. I ask him to go for car rental bcos I want someone to take over my ownership so that there is no more

I agree nowadays police are less efficient. I remember last time when I am in still studying in poly I want to upgrade my computer so I call up this guy whom had help me to fix my PC before cos he is quite friendly and look trustworthy. Had help me to fix my PC a few times and with reasonable charges. Operating from a small office in Peninsula Plaza. So he tell me to pay him a deposit of $300 for a $600 upgrade of motherboard and RAMs. after 1 month he tell me parts not arrive yet and after 2 months my patient runs out and go down his shop then realize his shop is already been chain lock by management. So I call him and he promise to return me the money over 2 months but did not. So I go make police report and they told me is under CBT so they refer it to the Central Police Station next to People's Park and Pearl Center. They even as me down for an interview and I give them his pager number, last time HP only for big towkays, because I page him no reply for very long. The police manage to track him down and ask him and me to go down to the station together. He tell the police he is in financial difficulties so he proposed to pay me back $50 for 6 months and I accept the proposal. To police says if he dun pay then they will press charges. Then they proceed with the paper work for me to drop charges on the condition payment is made. Gone are the good old days of the hardworking police. Nowadays those young ones really CMI [rifle]

2 years back, i lost my poach containing some keys and esso petrol passkey

immediately, i called the petrol company to stop the passkey and was told that the passkey have been used at a certain petrol station.

I was told by the petrol station manager that they keep record of the vehicle entering the station for petrol refill

Police report was made immediately and I asked the office to obtain the video record from that station

The officer promised me and 3 months pass and I did not heard any news from them

 

I visited the police station again and was told that no record was made regarding the recording from the petrol station and the officer that took down my report have since been transfer to another station. There is no way they can trace the criminal

 

THEN, THEY ASKED ME TO DROP THE COMPLAIN..

good for nothing.......maybe wee should ask the goverment to let the public know how much are they paying for the utilities bill of the police station for this bunch of goons to sit there enjoy the aircon and not wanting to assist the public...pui...

yeah, I think something is amiss with the leadership at MHA.... like father like son....

 

Our Wong KS must really buck up... there are so many blunders committed by the MHA lately that i am losing faith in our government capabilities

 

i dun think he really stand another chance in the upcoming election.... he is more a burden than an asset for the ruling party....

 

i hope to see some drastic scene to the political scene in the upcoming election.
