Throttle2 Supersonic October 31, 2009 Share October 31, 2009 cheap cloth from petrol station. choose the soft kind. takes a while to "season" it before it absorbs well buy 2 or 3 pieces to use concurrently. absolutely no problem at all for my car. perfect shine without scratches. Watwheels Supersonic October 31, 2009 Share October 31, 2009 SAF green towel. Can use credit to buy. I'm not kidding. If you dun believe you borrow someone's expensive micro fibre cloth vs any bath towel or some face towel the quality is the same or similar.

ElevenX Neutral Newbie November 1, 2009 Share November 1, 2009 If u rinse your car before wiping, normal cloth should not scratch your paint if there's no sand or dirt. If u are polishing, using normal cloth will have swirl marks.

In fact, I use it to clean my house's mirrors and tables. Things to note, it's damn big. And heavy when it's wet. Unless you want big biceps, cut the towel into smaller pieces. And got to burn the loose ends at the edges. The towel will leech color. Rinse it thoroughly first. I'm not sure whether it will stain your car. But play safe.
