Alfisti168 1st Gear October 30, 2009 Author Share October 30, 2009 downloaded chrome. Used for one day already. Quite like it. Only disadvantage is that it has no add-ons (I got this add-on in Firefox where if I highlight a particular word in the browser, and right click it, I can get the meaning of the word. Very user-friendly) IE 8 i dun like the interface. Doesn't look logical to have the address bar above 'File Edit View...' toolbar. Firefox crashes occasionally. So I am like goldilocks eh? Boyboy 1st Gear October 30, 2009 Share October 30, 2009 Chrome consumes quite a bit of resources, but it's my top pick for Windows, having tried IE, safari and firefox. If you have not tried it, PLEASE DO. it's that good. it's blazing fast and much more stable, and i prefer its interface above all others (ok, i dig simplicity...) pity about chrome for mac. waiting for non-beta version. for now it's safari and FF which work fine but i actually prefer chrome interface even after half a yr on mac. Speedsun Clutched October 30, 2009 Share October 30, 2009 IE 8 is lousy. If open a few IE tabs or IE windows at the same time, the newly opened IE will hang.
Alfisti168 1st Gear October 30, 2009 Author Share October 30, 2009 (edited) Anybody use Opera? I find it blazing fast. Even faster than Chrome. tried it already. It tries to be like firefox lyddat.... lots of features ==> need to learn how to use it. Chrome no need. Once uu see it uu noe what to do already. And I found out that when you want to add a 'www' and '.net' into your domain in your address bar, the shortcut key shift+enter is not activated... zzz. IE8 seems to hang more often than IE7.. guess it need more fine tuning.., find that Firefox is not much difference from IE.

After uu install the addons for firefox uu will see the difference le, especially the ad-block plus. I upgraded my IE from 6 straight to 8, still find 8 worse. haha. Have you seen all the hype about Google's privacy practices and how much of your data it shares with advertisers? Imagine the potential ammo you're giving it by using this browser.
