Sorry to dig out this old thread .Anyone can recommend me a good shop to respray my rims? thinking to have it spray for fresh coat of paint. Any inputs will be much appreciated.

I would advise against going to the famous one @ AMK Autopoint.

Cant match my original color, gave me some half F job and service is f-up ttm.

Wad color are your rims? After respraying, the rims will be more prone to chips.

If you wanna get them resprayed I would suggest going to Sin Ming Autocare.

Hi bro, i only resprayed my rim twice.

First was at a "recommended" tyre shop. Did a search and found some MCF members posted good reviews for that shop.

Found the color different, texture very coarse, not shiny at all.

Guess what they used? A can of sliver spray paint that can be bought from hardware shops.

ASked him why like that? He told me must drive awhile den the color will blend in. [furious]

Bought a bottle of thinner to strip off the paint.

Second time was at this popular spray painting ws @ AMK Autopoint.

On the phone asked him whether can he match my color, he told me can but when I reached there say different thing.

I had to wait for him 30mins before he finally showed up. Still dare show attitude and lie to me.

End of the day, workmanship half F, service F-up. [furious]
