2.0 Dual VTTi, but power only 142bhp, [thumbsdown] . The old Picnic still has a power of 147bhp..

PI 1.8L valvematic, power is 144bhp, somemore FC is better [drivingcar]

Cannot understand what BM is thinking. [hur]

You forget to include PI is cheaper too.

I think their mentally is that they are AD so they are holding a better selling power than the PI. See whether how many typical Singaprean (who always follow the crowd) will support them

Pi is cheaper? No really...I was scanning the advertistment.....Bm selling at $85k.....most Pi also selling above $80k.

So the savings is at most <$5k.

For the peace of mind...many will pay $5k more to get from BM for the 'warranty' and peace of mind.

4 speed auto...yawn...zzzz

Dun know what these Jap manufacturers are thinking....until now still 4 speed auto......should be min 5 speed auto as others are now either 6 speed or 7 speed DSG....the only manufacturer I respect in terms of fitting proper gearboxes like 6 speed and 7 speed DSG is VW....the Japs are getting from bad to worse....now their trend is cvt which is total crap for drivers who are car enthusiasts [thumbsdown]

I think the lower bhp is due to tighter emissions control like euro 4 and euro 5......bhp sure drop as compared to the good old days...

most(if not all) who buys toyota don't give a hoot on whether it's running on dino-age 4 speed gearbox or how many horses it's engine is churning out..they just want to drive a Toyota.. [rolleyes] in fact, some don't even know the specs of the car except tat it's a Wish MPV and can seat 7 person..

I have the same thought too. It will still sell if it is a Toyota, not to mention that it is a popular model like Wish. Only Honda Stream can rival its sales and popularity.

Neutral Newbie

I didnt know a simple ECU reflash is a "serious mod"

Most production cars nowadays tend to run richer to protect the engine. A simple ecu reflesh will bring out anything from 5 -20 horses depending on make and model. A simple IHE with ecu reflash will bring out 12-20 horses even on the rx8s which are known to be extremely stingy with giving out horses from NA mods.

Dunno pls dont talk until like know thanks.
