Perhaps what you can do is empty the water in the battery and top up with acid again and try charge again...Mostly likely it wont work but since its dead so no harm trying.

It got nothing to do with the diluted sulphric acid and moreover it's enviromentally difficult to dispose off the fluid. The cause is either damaged/shorted or highly sulphated plates. My adv is DON'T try to open up the sealing cover don't endanger yrself and the enviroment.

Try Ctek, it can recondition any battery that seems dead.

Really good for those who use 6V or 12V lead acid battery for security power source or remote control car charging, etc.

Sorry, had a Ctek charger and didn't do squat for my batteries in the past.

If your battery is internally damaged, cells shorted or plates heavily sulfated, you cannot revive it.

The charging amperage of Ctek is rather small as well.

Now using nanopulser, no need to have charger anymore. Given my Ctek charger away [rolleyes]

I had the XS7000 model. For XS25000, its rated at 25A but still regulated, no adjustment.

Ctek can only hope to clear slight sulphation as in the manual specs. Even with RECOND mode, still cannot save.

You can't revive damaged plates or shorted cells or heavily sulphated lead plates.

Maintenance Charging is meant for undercharged batteries due to infrequent use/stop-go conditions.
