If registered as a passenger car, the specs will be different. Passengers will have more secure seats with proper seat belts and is in the petrol version. If that's what you are saying.

Don't see why the minibus cannot be registered as a Pte Car as long as it follows the car registration fee (110% OMV for the ARF) + Car COE etc and if it is diesel - to pay the diesel tax + road tax.

Do they need to follow the 70 speed limit?

 

No, they follow normal speed limits because it's assumed that they will not be used to carry goods and all passengers will have a proper seat with belt.

 

They can be diesels too, but you have to pay hefty diesel taxes.

Then if thats the case, if a PA van speeds at normal car speed limits without any passengers in there, will tp close one eye too?
