Watwheels Supersonic October 22, 2009 Share October 22, 2009 If registered as a passenger car, the specs will be different. Passengers will have more secure seats with proper seat belts and is in the petrol version. If that's what you are saying.
Darryn Turbocharged October 22, 2009 Share October 22, 2009 I was looking at registering a fiat minibus with an S plate - is possible and it follows the S plate rules
Hjteo 1st Gear October 22, 2009 Share October 22, 2009 (edited) Don't see why the minibus cannot be registered as a Pte Car as long as it follows the car registration fee (110% OMV for the ARF) + Car COE etc and if it is diesel - to pay the diesel tax + road tax. (Paiseh - suppose to reply Darryn.) Edited October 22, 2009 by Hjteo
Kyojin 1st Gear October 22, 2009 Share October 22, 2009 Do they need to follow the 70 speed limit? No, they follow normal speed limits because it's assumed that they will not be used to carry goods and all passengers will have a proper seat with belt. They can be diesels too, but you have to pay hefty diesel taxes.

Then if thats the case, if a PA van speeds at normal car speed limits without any passengers in there, will tp close one eye too? ↡ Advertisement
