Tuning of SU carb

Dear all. I just bought a SU carb ..........brand Aisam for Toyota. Heard that it is for 1600cc car.

 

Does anyone have experiance or knowledge in tuning of these carb?

 

I noticed that it has 4 tuning screws:

 

1) AC timing

 

2) "Slow" or idle speed

 

3) Fuel & air mixture

 

4) XXXXX (Dont know what is this called)

1 is for fuel and the other for air....

carb does not have any timing adjustments.

also, if you want to be spot on in tuning, get a Gunson Colourtune. Bro YEOBH sells them. i found this to be very useful in tuning my weber.
