Shell uob smart $ redemption

hey ppl!

 

when we make payment at shell for fuel they always ask "redeem your smart $?" if you use your UOB card.

 

do you redeem?

 

i just came back from the station and when asked, i said "yea, redeem" only to realise that i redeemed $20 worth of smart $! didn't even know i had that much.

 

my question is..... is it really smart to redeem the smart $ at shell? or should we wait for other stuff?anyone done any research on this? hahaha....

You would have gain another S$1 (5% discount) or S$1.40 (7% infinite card)if you have paid the S$20 using the credit card (not the smart $).

 

You should use the smart $ to buy coupons or redeem it at Giant

ITw ould be wise to keep and redeem 1 lump sum from total petrol bill when you pump. Also, do note that when you accumulate 1400 UNI$. you redeem for a $20 SHELL voucher.

I used the points to pay for my tickets at Cathay Cineplex and got a free small popcorn.. Think there are some promotions on UOB smart points redemption or something..
