Ithunk 1st Gear October 18, 2009 Share October 18, 2009 Did a perfect lap at kartright speedway using a rental kart.....no skidding no nothing....nailed the handling of the kart.....and i realised how to even go faster now..... however one thing bad happened....my handphone dropped and a kart went over it....also alot of strength and stamina is needed.....to counter g forces...... had some fun touching wheels and over taking..... some pics of race karts taken....and man some of those guys r rich driving ferrari and skyline gtr also saw yuey tan...i think he was the one who crashed out n left.... karting is fun...but it cost money....ask a owner cost at least 10k man and next time must really wear jeans and shoes....if not handphone drop here are some pics ↡ Advertisement

Ithunk 1st Gear October 20, 2009 Author Share October 20, 2009 this is the track layout.....and yuey tan was there...if u guys do not know he is the one who raced in a porsche carrera cup...and he crashed his kart at turn 8.....i dunno whether he has too much money or did it on purpose....lol here are his race results from driverdb.com Yuey Tan Date of birth: February 9, 1982 (27 y/o) Place of birth: Singapore Races entered: 12 Wins: 0 Podiums: 0 Pole positions: 0 Fastest laps: 0 Race win percentage: 0% Racing career summary The following numbers are a summary of the more detailed information available in the Career details. Seasons spanning over two years (for example 2008-09 championships) have their race results accounted for in the year the championship ends (2009 in the example). 2009 9 races. 0 wins. 0 podiums. 0 pole positions. 0 fastest race laps. 2008 3 races. 0 wins. 0 podiums. 0 pole positions. 0 fastest race laps. in racing u need alot of cash man.....and i do not race cars as a profession.....however i am interested in karting love feeling the Gs when cornering so i will explain the track..... turn one is light to medium braking while feathering the accelerator....then floor it all the way.....turns 2 3 and 4 are pretty easy for mi...dunno how to explain....but just go as fast as possible.....turns 5 6 and 7....for turn 5 i am pretty sure i have nailed the braking point...it is fast....for turns 6 and 7 is where the Gs come in....and a person can make up time if they really drive at the optimum racing line in these 2 turns....they are also my favourite turns.....the last turn pretty ok but i would like an inside line.....so yeah pretty cool track and great fun.....i think there are kerbs at turn 4 but i would like to try the track out again as i was not too aggressive on the kerbs....and adding to that i always keep karts in good condition..... the same goes for driving a vehicle that is not mine i wouldnt say im good....but yeah like i say i nailed the car handling and track on the third session......first session skidded 6 to 7 times, second session twice.....third session none.... the next session is of course to drive smoother and much faster with finesse and grace...maybe not finesse and grace but go fast ....
