Tireburner 3rd Gear October 18, 2009 Share October 18, 2009 Isn't it more accurate to give km/L figures rather than total distance travel? As most cars' fuel tanks differ in size. A big cc car with 70L that does 10km/L may sound impressive to drive 700km compared with a smaller car with 50L that does 12km/L. But that's because it has a bigger tank! I rented a Prius recently and it did 680km on 30l of fuel on mostly highway driving. My Accord Euro 2.4 does about 600-650km on 55l of fuel of typical urban driving.
