sometimes heavy foot -> 500km.

mostly heavy foot -> 450km.

crazy foot -> 400km.

That's about 35L when needle is slight below "E", car don have fuel light, but full tank 38-40L.

Always want to try what happens if always light foot, but until now no discipline.

This is an interesting topic... Cos I am a lazy person, dun like to go petrol station that often... Am now looking to change car and a plus point to have one with good travel distance between pump... (Lets forget the pricing factor for now...)

Diesel is the way to go :) I drove an A3 Diesel, with full tank, range to empty was 1400kms. Wish our govt gave in to the benefits of diesel.

Altis(08) model.Didnt run till last drop.normally around 1/4 tank will go to pump.Will roughly pump in 37L with 430/480km.The former is 50% highway/50%city.The latter will be 80% highway/20% city driving.Car in stock condition,service by BM so don't know what oil they use.

P.S - Heard my colleague driving a Insight says that shell fuelsave buay pai,the other one driving Fit also say his car can go longer distance compare to last time.3/4 mark can go 200km compare to last time 100+ km.don't know true a not

Mine is Altis 06 model. Car in stock condition and serviced by BM. Think they are using their own Toyota engine oil. Not that bad if you compare with other engine oils. They used to use Shell Helix. My FC is about 12-13km/litre. Usually hit about 500-530km before fuel light is out. Will pump about 41litre cos I only go to one particular Esso station near my place. That's for 70% highway/30% city. When I was working in town, FC is only 11-11.5km/l.

I'm trying to be light footed from now onwards cos wife preggy. Else, I typically will hit 3k on the rpm when moving off.

My manual Sunny is also almost the same. I have had her for 4+ months now and I try to fill her when she is almost empty (continuous low fuel light). It always happens at around 490-520 Kms and then it takes 35-37 liters of top-up fuel again. I find it odd that Sunny (specially Auto) has such a bad reputation for poor FE but your Auto seems Ok too

Sunny (M) is a good car. I dare say 1 of the best deals on the resale market.

Thats an FC of at least 23km/l [thumbsup]

Hope to hear from more owners of hybrid cards here

Btw do you get the same FC if you do more city driving?

I heard hybrid cars fare even better if they do more city driving than highway driving
