Smarties Neutral Newbie December 9, 2009 Share December 9, 2009 ya hamburger is correct actually strictly talking, 225 is not reccomended for 18 x 7 rims -.- . my mistake . u can put 225wide tyres on 18 x 7 rims, ony if u really know what u look for . ( some tyres 225 if u measure its same as another model 215) like toyo drb, u stack up 4pcs 225. same height as falken 215 -.- . some time i also wonder how those engineers calcuate the width . i see. thanks for the inputs.. will check with the tyre shop on which models of tyres are available for me... dont know why my cars needs such a unpopular tyre size.. any good shops to recommend? ↡ Advertisement

Paulobt Neutral Newbie December 26, 2009 Share December 26, 2009 (edited) hi guys, any feedback on GT Radial tyres? Am considering Kumho KU31 r 36. looking for size 225/45R17. BTW, where to get the firestone tyres? cheers Edited December 26, 2009 by Paulobt
Contax 1st Gear December 28, 2009 Share December 28, 2009 for the price you get - UHP , full silicon , good grip both in dry and wet (v groove?) condition , high wear rate , W rated . I'm using it for the past 1.5 years , after 20k the noise gets louder but bearable to me. Btw , this tyre needs to warm up before the grip comes in . Bro i quite im on Maxxis and i quite like it too. the problem is it's quite hard to find. Do you have any lobangs?

Currently using yoko A300, have tried yoko a drive but thinking of changing to new brand/make.
