Throttle2 Supersonic October 15, 2009 Share October 15, 2009 if manual, clutch in , depress accelerator and throw gear. if AUTO, depress accelerator quickly and sharply easier to do for RWD car.

Benarsenal Turbocharged October 15, 2009 Share October 15, 2009 Manual is easy. Auto more difficult. And yes, RWD is recommended.
Yeshe Turbocharged October 15, 2009 Share October 15, 2009 Manual is easy. Auto more difficult. And yes, RWD is recommended. auto also easy, put to N, floor acelerator then switch to D. if transmission spoil dont blame me
Fcw75 Hypersonic October 15, 2009 Share October 15, 2009 Why would one want to do that in the first place?
Kyojin 1st Gear October 15, 2009 Share October 15, 2009 don't know why anyone would wanna abuse their drivetrain and tyres like that... but it's easy. make sure your ESP or traction control is off first. best if you can find a puddle of water to drive over first. (you can pour a gallon of water first). for FWD cars, pull up your hand brakes for auto: just stomp on the accelerator and let it steam for manual: rev till about 4-5k rpm and then drop your clutch and let it smoke for RWD cars, instead of pulling up the hand brakes, use your brakes and modulate just so there's enough slip. it's harder on a manual because you need to do a combination of heel-toe and clutch modulation

Ev0lutionz Clutched October 15, 2009 Share October 15, 2009 (edited) Of course i do. But dont do it on an auto. For auto, neutral drops are just fine, if the transmission gives way, blame yourself but some cars cant. Corolla Altis is one that cant. Maybe the ECU has a rev limiter to protect the gearbox. Kyojin 1st Gear October 15, 2009 Share October 15, 2009 hahazz nice one.. is drifting an auto car possible? think it's a matter of RWD or FWD... you can only drift in a RWD car, preferably with a 2-way LSD. don't believe anyone who say they can do a drift in a FWD car. that's called power sliding. Crazy_lancer Neutral Newbie October 15, 2009 Share October 15, 2009 Both also Easy and all cars can do it....... Manual: rev till about 4-5k rpm(too high your clutch will not bit for normal clutch ) and then drop your clutch and continue to step on the accelerator but down side is you will wear out your clutch$$ faster , try it once, and you may feel your bitting point is higher. Auto: go to L,D,1 anyone, step on the brake , step on the accelerator rev till more than 4k rpm. then just released your brake. same down side, still wear out your auto clutch$$$ and stress your auto hydraulic system, althought this is similar to auto gear stall test.
