Hmm... this is funny... i dun see throttle in this thread.

 

Wait he appear, pple suan him again for being table wiper. But did you hear the latest? His contract at Sunnytec Food Court may not be renewed.

 

Statistics alerted authorities to the unusually high number of patrons choking on their food in Sunnytec vs other food courts.

 

An investigation was launched, the initial suspected cause of poorly bisected food being dished out by the stall operators was ruled out but the probe revealed that a particular staff (table wiper) was always within 1.4m of each case.

 

Cuban odour is a suspected cause but the staff vehemently disagrees as he has no Cuban ancestry in his family. The authorities are still investigating. [:p]

i told him not to bring his cigars to work and smoke there already.. he just doesnt listen... maybe he can join me at food opera.

 

 

 

Cartier is a good choice.. but i like the santos.... or wify.. can get Chopard happy diamond sports too... when they see the diamonds dance.. i am sure they will be in a good mood everyday.. :) go for it!

I never see Cartier as a watch maker. But the Chopard one is nice. Damn expensive though.

Authorities have completed their investigations and concluded that there is no singular cause. But they have recommended that Sunnytec FC provide staff training in first aid and CPR.

 

The staff under probe has been reinstated to his job with a promotion as Head Table Wiper.

 

It was discovered that although the unusually high cases of choking did not result in any deaths as they were given first aid by the probed staff. This compares well with 1 death in 200 cases on average. [laugh]

If you read properly, it is not suanning. If mine is suanning, then maybe in my earlier post, the word to use is not suan but bash.

well i dun own any chopard so i cant really comment.. but if you want compare it with swiss movements it seems to hold up well... every LUC movement has the geneva seal which some say might be comparable to the Pateks....

if you want to spend more, can buy the one with diamonds on the dial at the hour marks. thats quite popular with ladies

at the same price range, you can also bring your wife to see Cartier watches

 

Women seem to like Cartier watches

 

can try bvlgari also.. italian jewellers who bought over swiss watchaker gerald genta in the '70s to do their watches (correct me if i am wrong). now bvlgari watchmakers are based in geneva and developed their inhouse movements.

 

IMO, more outstanding than cartier. italian design always [thumbsup]

there is a little chip on the glass that will costs less than $50 for copied parts....against an original glass that costs $200 to change. which will you go for ?

bring to koh watches in peoples park shopping centre lvl 2. should be around a couple of hundred dollars.

 

PS if its not original bracalet, pls do not bring to rolex service centre.

I have studied your watch. if you plan to wear it regularly, I would suggest:

:

1) new bezel (thats the ring around the glass)

2) new hands

3) new dial (if possible)

4) new bracelet

5) polish the case

6) new glass if it is badly scratched (cant see from your picture)

7) complete servicing (change rubber seals, o rings, oil parts, replace worn gears)

 

each item on the list above will cost you between $100 to $200 (bracelet could be more)

 

so the damage is about $1000-$1500 to make the watch look like brand new again. spending this amount , you can use the watch for another 20 years

 

if you plan to just keep it in the drawer for sentimental value, then just do step 7 - complete service will do

 

go to the people like Chuan Watch, JW Watch (google please)

Alright, thks bro. I'll head over prob this weekend. I noticed tht the time is abit off (too fast). One round is not one minute. Will the servicing take care of that?

 

I'll prob just service it and keep it, the design look abit...ermm...for my liking.
