After MR (Mindef Reserves) , do u keep SBO & stuff?

curious to see what you guys did with your SBO, helmet, boots etc after MR (reach 40/finish all ICT)

 

do you keep any stuff for emergency/camping etc.. or all gave to foreign workers (must be, cause so many of them wearing at worksites!!)

 

or kept for sentimental reasons (ha ha)

 

or keep on stand by in case Mindef Reserves are activated!!

I just keep them .You may not know what or when they will change their policy then you will lan-lan go and buy from beach road market .

 

I Just put them away in 1 corner of my store room..

i threw away my full pack items (been with me since BMT days), boots, extra sets of uniforms, including my full pack, poncho and groundsheets

 

i only keep SBO and helmet, and one set of uniform and one new Ali Baba bag, more for sentimental reasons than any other reasons.

 

they been with me sweat, blood and salivas..... cant bear to throw them away

dumped all my old uniform. only kept a new pair somewhere in the back of my cupboard. sbo, helmet and boots all stuff into full pack and chuck it to one corner of my storeroom.

 

haha.. remembered when i completed in last ict ippt, i jus took off my pt kits and threw it in the dustbin, and go shower. then after shower threw away the saf green towel in the bin.

 

last day of ict went e-mart and wack 10 pairs of black socks, hid torchlight and NB running shoes.

My uniform all too small to wear already, Boots also badly degraded, socks all got holes.

So when need to serve the country, only have helmet and SBO left?

 

But that day when I go Army open house, I try the new Rifle, I got 5 hit out of 5 leh!

So old soldier still can shoot one....hehe.
