I remember at Liang Court, 4 floor there is a tea shop that also does tea art and retail tea sets.

Next to Chinatownpoint there are tea merchants and if you know your teas, you can get from it there.

BTW, what tea are you buying ?

I drink chinese tea everyday cos I am a tea lover. :D

I usually drank after meals or leisurely....

Types of leave are individual's preference. Suggest you go try a few types and see which one you like.

I personally like Pu-er...Bought some biscuit tea packs while I was working overseas in Fujian some years ago. But you can find them in Chinatown too.

I am trying to finish my Green Tea bought overseas.

Understand that all tea contains a lot of anti-oxidants which will help body fight diseases and bacteria.

I drink chinese tea everyday, used to drink Pu-er but now I'm drinking Ti Guang Yin and Pu-er. Pu-er from Yunan is the best and Ti Guang Yin is best from An Xi.

A good Ti Guang Yin, should able to tahan to 'pour'( 泡 ) at least abt 7-8 times before their leave start to turn slight yellowish. If the tea leave start forever green, it means colour dye been added. To me a good Ti Guang Yin is to give a slight hint of sour after taste.

When buying tea you have to go for tea tasting, sit down and take your time to taste what u really like n suits u. Start from the cheaper tea leaf and slowly move up on the prices...never 1st whack n go into costly tea cos costly tea doesn't means it will suit u best. Everyone have a diff liking and taste, just like wine. Some like to have a stronger taste some like light n crisp.

You will able to get the best drop of tea from the 4th 'pour '( 泡 ). Boiled natural spring water makes your tea taste much better.

Tea can drink it at almost any time but try not to drink after 2hrs before bed time and a good chinese tea session after meal will help digest and clear some fatty fats in yr system.
