i like the one at Miramar hotel. Restaurant name is oriental something. Lunch buffet about 17++.

For ala carte, can try red star, victor's kitchen at bencoolon or zi yean at red hill but since they change their chilli, i stop going..

most likely you have not been there to try it.. so what is your etc? don't try to act like a poser yourselves but with no substances.

 

as for red star, take away the push cart and they are just nothing more than the others, less the old style deco

Agree with the assessment that Red Star is nothing special. My recommendations:

 

Not in order of merit:

Wen Tou Sek (Geylang Lor 17 or 19, can't remember)

Hua Ting Restaurant (but very very ex hor, but it's nice! )
