Actually I pay a few K less then the 58K with bodykit and front mud guards thrown in................ I guess I got a good deal.

For aircon, u can control the flow.

If u close 1 the rest will be more power. Play around with it.

Rear foglight is right side only

Speakers front only.

Go Chuan Sing. Tell them the black Roomster sent u, want the same package hahahhaha

They will hook up up with 11 speakers.

Erm SE presented the Roomy with 8 speakers... so I have to fight for it!

Wah Ruzhyo you really got a good deal... I dun have body kit, no front mud guard, got STEEL wheels instead of sport rims (not considered rims, as what my SE joked with me...)

Can PM me what's your package for the speakers? Get HA sponsor me since I get wrong info...

Actually I told them I don't want headunit and speakers and got $200 off.

But in the end, still got 2 skoda brand speakers in the front. Rear got nothing.

As for my ICE set up:

Head Unit Pioneer AVH 6850 DVD

Front Speakers Sinfoni 2 way http://www.sinfoni.com/

Front Amp Sinfoni 2 channel http://www.sinfoni.com/

Pioneer center speaker

Rear speakers Pioneer satalite speakers

Rear Pioneer PRS 2 way speakers

Rear Pioneer PRS 4 channel amp

Pioneer 7650 processor

Thats about it......want another amp + sub but no more space unless use boot space which I am not willing.

I got steel wheels too. No sport rim option.

Oh yes, I got front wind deflector thrown in too. Also cheapo A3 carpets.

I have since changed to 3M carpets and 17in rims and tires and looking for a re-wrap of the chairs.

Just done my 15k km service this morning. $292 [lipsrsealed]

But its ok I guess, the roomy has so far been doing very well and getting better. Only thing is that it prefer 97/98 fuel and dislike 95

Wa, your if the 3 points are due to manufacturing fault, then it speaks a lot about the quality of the vehicle.

I'm not sure if reliability is an issue for silver arrow cab company as they've retired a lot of the skodas from their fleet.

more of the owner not too sure of what is in their car...

as for the taxi, given the way they drive and turn off engine... even the mercs don't last that long..

Renni... congrats on your purchased... it's hard to say about this car.. coz' I own it and my views will be biased.. But I owned other conti makes as well and can say that it's a real nice ride to be had.

In some of my post, I mentioned about driving up Cameron, it's a blast!

Recently, got a pilot light telling me about low tyre pressure... true enough one tyre is low in pressure... waah.. at least I know the sensor do really work...

I bought an OPC Polar Blue roomy for my parents to use and my occasional use, of course now lesser chance to use it coz' my parents really like it's smooth ride.. and each time, I drove it and comes back to feel how rough is my other conti ride... hmmm...

Hey guys just got a Roomster during the blackout sale....very happy with the car so far

Have been looking real hard on the roads for other roomster owners...but i guess as everyone says...Roomsters are a bit of a rarity!

Does anyone know a good place to get 16" alloys for the roomster? Am looking for something that looks like the Skoda Aria rims

Neutral Newbie

Glad that you're enjoying your roomster.

I suppose given the limited no. of roomsters on the road and that dealers will not be willing to take in this car to sell, would be better to go direct to existing owners who might want to upgrade to another car, win-win situation mah!

After 37k do u have any issue with the car in terms of maintenance cost, reliability and fuel consumption? thanks!
