Erratic Neutral Newbie October 5, 2009 Share October 5, 2009 Southern Tyres opposite Ten Mile Junction. Think they open around 9-9.30am. Cost is about $8 for the "injection" type patch to about $15 for the interior rubber patch.

Beregond Supersonic October 6, 2009 Share October 6, 2009 Just curious to findout, anybody can enlighten in what situation need internal rubber patch and in what situation just "injection" will do ? thnks injection patching is more of a temperory measure. u check your tyres , there are groves , if the puncture is inside the groves , injection patching is still ok , as the 'rubber tube can squeeze between the groves'. if the puncture is on the surface , there is a danger of when u drive hard the 'patching tube' might be pull out , due to contact with the road. inner rubber patching is not reccommended for old tyres, when u need to do inner patching , the tyre guy need to open take out your tyres from your rims, there is a chance if old low profile tyres , the bead might crack or break . ↡ Advertisement
