Drive_carcar Clutched October 5, 2009 Share October 5, 2009 I don't even want to pay for the sports channel with Starhub, so there's no reason why I would pay for Singtel. What's more I'm not a soccer kind of guy, I'm a golfer.
Lendevear 1st Gear October 5, 2009 Share October 5, 2009 Honestly the matches are screen at wee hours and fans can only watch it without worries over the weekend. My budget is only $10 for the soccer channels. And singtel gotto give me a free landline, modem and set up box. I wouldn't pay a cent more to singtel or Temasek. Nts0408 Neutral Newbie October 5, 2009 Share October 5, 2009 $0 for me. I don't subscribe to MIO or Starhub. I also don't watch soccer.
Blizzardman Neutral Newbie October 6, 2009 Share October 6, 2009 Just to add, I'm not from Singtel.. just that I got my free MIO set this year... interface-wise for those geeks out there, Mio even though newer in cable TV, is way better than Starhub's.. and in terms of picture definition... Mio is much better.. I don't watch a lot of MIO besides the free movies here and there.. but I think it has potential.. if you look at Starhub, after all these years or decades, still giving us lousy picture quality, especially if you are using high def LCD screen.. i think IPTV is the way to go.. and I am waiting to cancel my Starhub sports package next year.. so I get to watch ESPN's BPL all over again... currently Morrison is a waste of TV space... so, yes, I'm happy Starhub got kicked in the butt... Xtrocious 1st Gear October 7, 2009 Share October 7, 2009 To be honest, I am only interested to watch my team (Liverfool) play...I would rather just pay per view each time... But with Mio getting ESPN and STAR Sports, looks like I got no choice but to subscribe as my family watches other sports like F1 and tennis...
