what is MDA doing? it should put a stop to this ever escalating price increase of pay TV, especially for the sports channel.

instead, it has taken a back seat and counsumers have to "suffer".

as for the world cup, SH and ST will compete to outbid each other again. imagine paying $100 to watch all the WC matches......

Turbocharged

Mio Tv is a white elephant. I regret applying for it. No use, all oldies movies/show.

If without the Champion league, u think their subscribers rate will go up so fast (almost double).

Now with EPL for the next 3 years, their current subscriber of 100,000 user may shoot up to as high as 300-400K.

Mostly migration from Starhub user.

This is purely business ethics since they both belongs to the same company.

If not, how to drain peasant's money?

ok la, to be fair, temasek only holds majority shares in singtel and starhub. Temasek is technically 100% govt funded and is thus owned 100% by the citizens of singapore. MDA is a govt body and is thus also owned by the citizens of singapore.

Hence the real fact of the matter is we are the ones screwing things up. You are screwing me and i'm screwing him.
