Parking along Somerset Road

Anybody can advise if free parking allowed along Somerset Road (opposite Comcentre) after office hours...always saw cars parking along that stretch after office hours and weekends...

Single Yellow Line = 7pm to 7am free parking

But it is very difficult to get a lot there, as good as striking 4D if you can get one.

 

I have seen some motorists parking beyond the single yellow line and getting summoned.

might as well pay $2+ per entry for sheltered parking at PUB Building or SingTel building, esp if you are parking for a long stretch of time. You never know which kuku parallel parking person may side swipe your vehicle.

Singapore Power takes hourly parking as well? didn't know that...

I mean for weekends and night times. Not very sure for PUB but suspect it to be so. For SingTel building, per entry rates for weenkends and nights. Parked there before.

 

For workdays, surely will be hourly parking like the rest of orchood loot.

i checked the parking rates for comcentre at one.motoring...they do published the rates but singapore power not listed...yeah...parked in paid carpark better...more secure...
