Help : creaking sounds from wheels

Few days ago i realized that sometimes when i tun my wheels, they make a creaking sound.

 

Happens only sometimes and not all the times.

Anyone know what might be the cause?

 

I know its nothing big but it sure as hell is irritating.

MAybe its your suspension. I had it before, was my suspension. But it could be your steering shaft or your ball joint linking the wheel to the drive shaft.

Better get a mechanic to check. It is also not easy to diagnose. Must trial and error.

Backwards? when i turn my steering left to right sometimes the sound comes out. But mostly is when i turn it left. Weird.

I initially thought that my tyres are scraping the fenders.

Did you make hard contact with your wheels recently? e.g. Strike kerb etc?

 

I suspect it has got something to do with the suspension rocker arms or the shocks perhaps.

I had the same experience, but not sure if its the same case.

 

my car also had this creaking noise when steering wheel turn left/right at stationary or slowing moving off from traffic lights.

My mechanic helped troubleshoot 2x b4 locating the real culprit.

1st time, changed steering coupling + lower arm brushings (as there were wear & tear evidence)

Went back a few days later and did another thorough troubleshooting then realized that its the bearings in ball joint of drive shaft. Changed the drive shafts and its fine now.

it can also be a nut lose on the 'arm' of your link. that happened to me anw. resolved by tightening.;
