Thestig Clutched September 18, 2009 Share September 18, 2009 For destroying the sanctity of the World's First F1 Night Race and making us believe that Alonso won due to luck and his sheer driving skill, perhaps we should all boycott the purchase of Renault cars for an undetermined period of time. I'm sure that there are many other makes that would provide a suitable compromise or exceed Renault's. Would be better if this was done worldwide. ↡ Advertisement

Tireburner 3rd Gear September 18, 2009 Share September 18, 2009 Renault cars are not at fault and should not be sanctioned. It's only a few people of the Renault Team that conspired to fix the race the results. These are the ones who should be dealt with.
GoodCar 4th Gear September 18, 2009 Share September 18, 2009 The Renault Megane is on end of model offer.......at almost Altis price Good value for a complete car....
Guest EverestLeasing Neutral Newbie September 18, 2009 Share September 18, 2009 TheStig means it as a joke right. The Renault F1 team people are at fault. Why drag the whole company down? Besides, in Singapore, we buy from Wearnes, not Renault. The guys who planned this has stepped down. Its time to let go.

Ya, until now I'm still greatly amused by the fact that this nelson piquet Actually dared to crash his car at high speed into the wall!! He must have either great confidence in his crashing skills or the safety of renault F1 cars Either way, I think the renault F1 team made a right decision to sack him as this guy clearly seems to be crazy to follow that order to crash. Its as good as asking him to go and die and he really do it. Edited September 18, 2009 by Rickster

Guest EverestLeasing Neutral Newbie September 18, 2009 Share September 18, 2009 Nobody buy also don't mean prices will go down. Many examples in the market. Look at Mazda, Daihatsu, Honda, etc... Sales drop, but prices increase. Cos they bopian. Their cost like OMV, COE increase also.
Guest EverestLeasing Neutral Newbie September 18, 2009 Share September 18, 2009 Crashing into the wall sideways in a controlled manner does not sound difficult or dangerous. Just make sure the back is clear. Real danger is only the threat of cars behind crashing into you.
Tonyhawk 1st Gear September 18, 2009 Share September 18, 2009 F1 is a product. the profits are generated purely for the F1 group. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Formula_One_Group Has anybody really considered what F1 is about? the fastest driver in the world? based on what rules? the rules of an international body, made up as we go along? FIA? made up of who? whoose decisions are driven by what? does a fine of 150 million mean anything to anybody for real? where does the money go anyway? at least in a real sport like football, tennis, etc, the money goes to the players, the community, etc. What does F1 do for anybody? F1 is like reality tv at best. Of course, it doesnt stop me from watching lah. Reality tv also quite exciting sometimes.
Watwheels Supersonic September 18, 2009 Share September 18, 2009 This is suppose to be the classic "do anything but dun get caught", but got caught eventually scenario. I believe the other teams are not that angelic either but at least they didn't get caught. Anyway they got the brains to pull off such a cheat. Unlike those no brainer OPC cheats & parking coupon cheats.
