i wont even pay the first time, cos after first time visit what if you get enticed and addicted ? worse if you are lucky that day and you win some money, that is how people get hooked. if gambling can make a living no one will need to work already. i have many friends around who lost their fortune to gambling including casinoes and jackpot. eg. a retired doctor who is peniless, cos he gambled and owed a lot of money to casinoes around the world, and they chased for his debt in his hospital, in the end he was striked off the list. his son doesnt even want to talk to him.

YES! if its $100 is a 2 or 3-day pass to the theme park (if its only 1 day its damn steep can). but the theme park must have many exiting rides and roller coasters for me to ride till i ka neng! im looking forward to the theme parks and the other stuff that come with the IR rather than the casino.

go genting must also pay about $100 or more for accomodation and transport.if in sin,lose liao can juz go back and sleep.in genting,lose liao,still need to take 4-6hrs journey back .im staying in Tanjong pagar area so still walking distance for me .win can take taxi home.but end of the day,i will still support genting coz of the cool weather and playing in ringit .

did some research on gambling. so far no one i've spoken to was addicted to casino gambling. some of the addicts did play casino occasionally, but it wasn't the problem.

 

the main issue is soccer and other internet gambling. illegal of course. got a few involved in legal 4D betting.

 

honestly, i'm just waiting for the casino to flop. stupid boy never listen to daddy, this one thing i support old man lee

What is S$100? Pay straight away and you can start gambling. No time wasting.

Dont have to look at calendar whether you can apply for leave or not. Just go as and when you like.

Own time own target.

 

The 2 nearest legal place to gamble is in

 

a) Batam (Leisure World). Almost 2hrs journey (per way) and you still need to pay for the ferry ticket.

And dont forget the bumpy seasick ride.

 

b) Genting. The almost 7hrs ride by coach. Both ways should cost at least S$60 to S$100 already. You still need to pay hotel room and waste time.

I will pay $100 to enter a casino whether as tourist or local. I would rather spend the $100 to go to Genting and enjoy the holiday.

 

In New York, I used to pay US$10 to take air-cond coach to Atlantic City and casino operator there will pay every visitor US$20 plus free drink once we step down from the coach.
