Hi all,

Anyone put your child at Q-Dees Kindergarten?

the school will have music & dance/ concert performance soon at replubic polytechnic.

What surprising is, the school not allow the parent to bring camera/ video camera.

Already need pay for the ticket per adult, still need (optional) to pay $35 for entire event film in DVD.

Sure 100% all parents will pay that $35 film, but is that the way, they earn money?

Hope bro here can give your genuine opinion about that school policy.

copyright stuff??

weird that the sch will charge for that. Did you bring this up with the sch? What's their reply on that?

they have many branch, i only ask person in charge in my child kindergarden.

They just reply simple, do not want to buy no need to buy loh, no body force to buy.

the issue is not the amount of $35, but why parent can not bring video camera them self.

the school mention, will distract the child focus in performance.

if ban use camera, with flash, i understand lah, but video camera (sure without light) should be no problem right?

Hope more parent who have thier child in q-dees, complain about this. the event is on mid october 2009.

It's also to avoid the usual kiasu parent syndrome.

Jossling for the front row, setting up their tripods, blocking everyone else's view just so they can satisfy their kiasu instinct of inconveniencing everyone else for their own enjoyment.

Good move by Q-dees i say! [thumbsup]
