RON95 RM1.75 => RM1.80

RON97 RM1.80 => RM2.05

No mention of V-power price though... Anyway, still cheap by comparison. Hmmm... Does that mean cartel here will take the opportunity to increase too?

Starting from midnight tonight...

But at least their Goverment has been holding the price steady since Jan and motorists have been pre-empted about the increase many months ago. And the increase is not much really.

Not like what we have here. Prices go up by leaps and bounds and when it does come down, it's dispropotionate to the rate of increase.

dont misunderstand bros..msian has phased out the RON 92 petrol and encouraging them to use RON 95 instead.so as to keep the prices low for RON 95,they increased the RON 97 to subsidise for the RON 95 price..

According to MY Govt, they are still subsidising RON95 at 33.81sen and RON97 at 42.72sen.

RON92 is phased out due to the lower usage of 5% from total petrol sales.

BTW, is there a different in quality between SG RON95 and MY RON95?

they'll suck thumb and lan lan accept. End of the day, end users will be bearing the increase.

Don't forget, neighbour raise 1 cent, they'll take the opportunity to add another 2 cents "water conservation tax".

So ultimately who benefits?
