Roof wrap queries

If wrap decal e.g. on roof (roof wrap), say for abt 6yrs, will it damage the paintwork and/or leave residue? Since roof is most directly exposed to weather/environmental impact.

 

It may depends on the brand of decal to b used. Also wat brand is more suitable or better?
