Blinking Brake lights

Just saw this on the road yesterday... Very irritating indeed... :P

Hi guys.

 

I've just installed a relay on my third brake light today to make it blink when braking.

Any one seen one of these on the roads yet? I just wanna ask for ur views, whether do u think its distracting or a good warning signal.

 

Basically its just a controller which makes ur current LED third/center brake light blink when the brakes are pushed. Basically its the similar concept as the one on the new RX-8 .

 

What do u guys think?

 

 

In my opinion, if this third brake light only blink 2 to 3 times when the brake is activated, it is OK.

But if it continue to blink non stop, then it becomes very irritating to the driver at the back.

 

Such device is usually call "back off" lights in Ang Moh country, more useful for motorcycles.
