Kb27 Supersonic August 29, 2009 Share August 29, 2009 Yeah, I believe LTA will have something to say against blinking brake light. Although I think it's useful, but there's a limit. We can't have every vehicle on the road blinking red lights at a stop light. It would be distracting and unnerving.

Kurty Supercharged August 29, 2009 Share August 29, 2009 bro, myself also did the same like yours but instead of shining at others. i did it internally, meaning i step on brake, my 120cm LED that connected to my 3rd brake light will flash but internally. in short, the whole of my rear window will be lighted up. myself do find it irritating on those HID and LED on external. Rule of the thumb, according to LTA, any decorative light outside of ride, is considered illegal. i understand the good intention, we are just trying to reamp user to have a safety distance in conjunction with deco purpose. however, the intention must be there and not to cause any disturbance to anyone. if you ask me, i would advise you to do something similar as mine. least, it did comply with LTA. Npk Neutral Newbie September 20, 2009 Share September 20, 2009 (edited) Got one unit where the Brake light will flash about 4 times and stay permanently ON(will not irritate the drivers behind me) until the brake pedal is released. If I am caught in bad traffic and have to move slowly, the lights will not blink. I am trying to get more info soon....but not sure what LTA will say about this. Npk Neutral Newbie September 22, 2009 Share September 22, 2009 " To get highest level of attention to avoid rear accident....not irritating b'cos only 3-5 quick flashes and stay Permanently On until Brake Pedal is released. Built-in safety feature..if the blinker system fails, the light will illuminate as normal(no blinking, stay permanently ON when brake Pedal is depressed). Low Power but can handle up to 60W(12Vdc). Easy to install More effective on LED(quick and bright flashes) [email protected] Category: Autos & Vehicles Tags: Safe Brake LED Blink capture attention motorist accident " I am not sure if the circuit can be hidden inside the brake light...mine is a little small black box where I hid it under the rear parcel/speaker shelf.
