I have been trying to get one of those metal swings that allow 4 person to sit together type, but seems like no longer available leh. Internet can't find, some shops I went also cannot find. And I I do not want those wooden types carried by nursaries and Carrefour.

Anybody know where to get new ones? And if you happen to have one to dispose of, I will also gladly take . Many TIA.

Just to share my 2 cents, when i was a kid, my dad had one put in the garden. it's not easy to maintain...rusts easily with all the exposure to the elements. Had to throw it away finally :(

Do consider the wooden ones, there's a good reason why they're popular ;)

Happy searching!

Thanks for the advice. I wanted it also for nostalgic reason, not because I used to have one, but because I longed to have one. Now that my place could put one, is like fulfilling a childhood dream.

Thanks for the offer. But probably I will pass since transport is a hassle, and also the need to check for condition which is time-consuming. Better to buy new and get it delivered if can still buy new. Many thanks anyway for the headsup. [thumbsup]

A few yrs back, I went ard sourcing and got 1. But.. so far, I think only 2 shops are still ard today.

The Changi one is called Guan Thong Chan. There is another one called K G Seng Engineering & Trading Co in AMK Ind Park 2.

The pricing is ard $550 - $700, but with fluctuating steel prices, dunno what the price is now.

Take note, the 4 seater swing got many variations, try to ask for the wider one. Dunno why the most popular models all seem narrower compared to those 20+ years ago. Also.. the artistic patterns.. I think less pattern nicer looking, but the workers seem to think otherwise.

All the shops are listed in The Buying Guide under the section Playground Equipment. Is best to visit their workshop to see the actual product.

Another reason I wanted the metal one is because I want to allow feeding of my toddlers on the swing, slowly of course. Can't do that on wooden ones as only single row.
