Is it true better buy cont'l then japan car as per aug 2009

hi all,

 

every time ask se at jap AD, why the price shoot compare 4-6 months ago, always say yen $ goes up/ strong

 

and for continental car, when go to, got disc a lot from their price list.

is they want clear they old stock or really euro $ goes down/ low

Its true la. For every $1000 increase in the car OMV, the selling price will go up by $2K+

 

On top of that, the COE also chiong like nobody business compared to 4 months ago.

 

So now you buy a new jap car can easily cost around $15K more as compared to march/apr this year.

Increase in prices for Jap rides due to high yen & increase in COE [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

 

Some will switch to buy Ang Mo Chia if say gonna spend 75K for a Jap ride for now [gossip]

Heard that maintenance cost of continental car is very ex

 

Maintenance is same as as any jap car in the same class.

 

However, if you're talking about original parts replacement. Yes they generally cost 2x or more.
