heng never watch..... waste time only..... . this season will be difficult, still got some way to go. but keep having such results (play 3 lost 2), no need to challenge for title by oct 2009.

 

last season draw so much, must convert those draws into wins. As usual, pool cannot perform against those "darkhorse" teams such as spurs, villa, man city etc. i also suspect they will struggle against teams like sunderland, burnley, bolton.

 

Again i believe this match the midfield again no ideas and defense all over the place. lucas again. This guy in the news for the wrong reasons. next match bolton wanderers.

Like i say, Rafa's failure to find a replacement for Alonso will be the fall of Liverpool this season....

 

There are few issues with the current squad that the club needs to address. But some of the liverpool "fans" here (im not saying all) seems more contented with gloating & personal flaming of the Man Utd players when Man U played badly. Rather than taking a good look at their own team strength & weaknesses.

 

The lack of depth is pretty much apparent ... in defence they throw in some inexperienced young defenders.. and when the cards are down, who they bring on? Liverpool's own discard - Voronin.

 

I have always said the same thing, dont waste your energy hating MU; if you use the same amount of effort in supporting your team, perhaps they will do well. Nobody's perfect & yes, United do play badly at time. But they always bounce back & march on, that's the spirit of champions.

In my opinion, dun blame the players or the manager.

If anyone is to be blamed, they are the 2 American owners.

 

No money for the manager to buy players.

The manager had to resort to selling players so that he can buy new players from what he could raised. No extra money.

 

In fact I was hoping that Liverpool will not do good this year and it will prompt people in there to take serious action against the Americans owners and ousts them from the club. Whats the point of getting far to the Champions League competition every year to earn more money only to pay the debts owes by the Americans? I rather Liverpool in mid-tables but free of debts worries.

 

Totally agree with you, HOKK. It might happen to United someday too cos they borrowed money to buy the club & whenever there's a profit, the Glazers might wanna pay the bank & not invest in players! This could be happening now at Old Trafford as there isnt any REAL big signing after CR left.

Carragher is a typical Kanjiong spider but he play with his heart n soul everytime he put on Liverpool jersey, a true scouser. I say Rafa, give the kids a chance Spearing, Martin, Nemeth.

Those two were really good games, especially against Milan. I am sorry, King, but I dont think Liverpool have a good manager. The reason being that the team is an ala Glam setup with many super stars & how do you motivate millionaires to get off their butts & die for the team? I think Rafa will do well in a smaller team like Spurs or West Ham but LIverpool do need somebody like the Special One to drive the players. Just my own opinion, not sure if you agree with me.

think this season's gonna be really interesting and exciting probably gonna see a top 6 battle... the team i fear most is Chelsea, they just need that little bit of luck which they've been lacking for the past couple of seasons...

When he win the CL for Liverpool in his first season...... future look good. Then after he sign torres things also look good, after last season performance things look even better. but sorry sad to say he has done enu for Liverpool, just like Houllier. Complain about lack of funds, this n that. look at the players he sign over the years........ how many is good..... Torres, Benayoun, Johnson, Reina, Alonso, Mascherano....... this is all i can think off. Play mind game with that old red nose..... didnt he do his homework???? How many die by doing that.

I don't follow Pool so closely.

 

Doesn't Rafa have any youth player to call upon? He is at Pool for quite some time now.

 

Arsene was able to cultivate a few decent youth players when he was at Arsenal for the same period of time.

 

Every now and then, you have teams being injected with a lot of cash. Unless the club is a walking ATM machine, why not pursue a decent youth team policy as insurance?

 

But it is still early days, the one to catch this season is Chelsea. All you need is an injury crisis and a few more draws than necessary, Pool will be level again.

the thing wif rafa is...he has no confidence in his youth players. after spearing's gd performances, he still can't get a 1st team playtime. instead of insisting that lucas is gd...y not jus give spearing a chance? who knows he might be a revelation. but rafa is too damn stubborn.

Had been reading these posts on Liverpool. Honestly, for every defeat, there is always a reason behind....Blame the ref, Blame Lucas, Blame this and that.

No one blamed the team. football is a team effort and they do not win means that the team are not good enough. Period. Losing 2 games in 3 does not neither mean that Liverpool will not be champions nor will be. Look at the team and you know why.
