Kb27 Supersonic November 23, 2009 Share November 23, 2009 I found another solution which works for me. It's actually a household, bathtub, hard surface cleaner. http://www.astonishcleaners.com/product/cr...each-500ml/445/ Bought it from Giant, Southern City, JB for rm17 500ml. The magic appears to be the <5% anionic/nonionic surfactants. It does remove the oil film if you use a soft sponge and let is soaked for 5 mins. Much easier than using 3m sandpaper and rubbing. However, it also remove wax from the paintwork, so be careful not to spill it outside the window. I think not safe for window tints either. The oil film will always come back. I think it's due to our weather, either rain or oil that is baked into the glass by the sun's UV. So I think if you parked outdoors most of the time, the chances of getting it is higher.
