The 3 places i have mentioned is more for tourist. In fact, i haven't find any nice Peranakan restaurant for a long time. For laksa & kuih paiti. i usually go to this cafe next to Peranakan Museum on Heeren St. What's wrong wif the food in Auntie Lee or is it the service? Can we not find good nyonya food is Melaka? I've tried Ole Sayang, Nonya Suan and Mako before. They all just the same as each other, nothing to shout about, except Makko has better cendol (not too sweet). I've yet to try Aunty Lee.. . Food quality another!.. Maybe it's just a bad experience on the one time I was there.. Fish and prawns are not fresh, taste wise - too watery and basically not good enough... The basic taste may be there for certain dishes.. that's about it.. hehe.. :P Oh! Did try Amy's at Melaka Raya's newer section too, apparently a cousin of celebrity chef Florence Tan. Food is also just so so, really...

Before i overtake any heavy vehicles, i will hi beam & give a friendly horn to remind them about my overtaking. This steps is very important. After that, gun my throttle to overtake them as fast as possible. what i meant is some lorries don't have working rear lights. At nite along NSH, you drive at > 120kmh, suddenly your headlights caught the rear reflectors of a truck directly in front, less than 20m away.... you don't even see them until you're that close... bad luck if they're stationary

Wif hi beam, u could reduce this problem.

Previously went with fren, we stayed at a budget hotel and went to the KTV ard the corner as in the attached map. The hostress accompany you by the hour, min 3 hrs and they were pretty decent looking ladies. Not too expensive too. Ard the area also got pubs and other local singer's pub. I suggest u put up at the budget hotel and spend more time at the KTV. The budget hotel has vertical parking with security guard and free breakfast. This looks good. How much was the hotel? Sevnrg Neutral Newbie October 11, 2009 Share October 11, 2009 (edited) 1 1/2 hr driving back from malacca to singapore at night can be done. some tips for you guys. just drive at a comfortable speed on the right lane say until a car comes up fast behind you. let it pass. let the MY car clear the way for you and follow (somewhat) closely behind. especially those bmw's then u just simply pace them at about 180km/h. its safer cos you can see the red tailight of the car ur following and theres no danger of hitting slow moving heavy vehicles Edited October 11, 2009 by Sevnrg

Usually Malaysian drivers have good road discipline one, if you drive on the first lane, you are likely to avoid them. If they switch lane from 2 to 1, you should see them flashing the directional signal. If you tell us that you only see them within 20m then your headlamp is not bright enough liao. If in total darkness while on NSH plus I'm ahead of the traffic with no car infront, I will turn on hi-beam to have a clearer view ahead of me. You can try this method too.
