Ok point noted. Any one else would like to start a new thread on gender biasness? Because it seems like some of you guys have taken my post wayyyyyyyy out of context.

Congratulations you've turned this simple gesture into malignant, tumour growing cancerous growth. I applaud your imagination.

Lets have coffee and we can discuss it in a more dignified manner instead of sitting behind a computer screen googling or wikipedia-ing Human Resource issues and discrimination in the workplace.

chill bro. Was kidding, im too old for such stomp rubbish.

But be slightly more sensitive talking about stuff like this during period of high unemployment

Not directing at you. I do get the sarcasm about stomp though hahaha.

But its just a simple job ad. If anyone wants to apply its up to them. Sensitive issues or not.

Turbocharged

pity u.

post job lobang and then kenna all kind of nonsense...

if the boss wants female staff, no amount of politically correct policies/ regulations etc is going to change anything.

she just simply interview candidates from both genders and hires only the fairer one.

i have certain jobs in my dept where i prefer females or males.

truth is, i don't have time to waste training someone who finds out he/she feels this kind of job is not suitable 2 months later.

especially in this kind of employment climate, where the "no fish got hay bee also good" mentality rules.

that being said, i have 2 guys in my predominantly female department, one was a transfer from another dept whom i know well and another was a temp staff who demonstrated his preference for the position even though there were others available and the team was keen for him to join.

Well, you can never be "politically correct" when it comes to sensitive issues regarding employment. I've tried my best.

all i have to say is being a Male, and still interested in the female species (lol), there is alot one can learn from doing a CSO job. Dosen't make me less of a macho, testosterone pumping person. Some of you guys may think CSOs are a low-class job, low pay, no future job. Really, about half of it is true, the job isn't glamour, you get scolded for things out of your control, unreasonable customers will remember your every mistake and mis-communicated sentences, the appreciation for your hard work never exists; but isn't it common in most jobs?

All i can say is, i've learnt a helluva lot about people skills (which some people here and around could use with) and learning to manage your emotions. The upside is - i'm not in it for a career.

Final punchline - I still earn more than some of my fresh grad diploma friends in the private sector. And the fact is, i'm still studying.

Relevant experience? you decide.
