a salesman fr AD told me to calculate new rides base on OMV:

 

OMV x 2.237=cost oredi, then add COE, then u can see what margin the AD is making out fr anew ride.

 

pressume perodua viva OMV is around $5,5OOx2.237=$12,3O4/=

add COE $14,OOO/= so minus fr selling price, then it seems tax alone dont really contribute high selling prices, lets put aside yen inflate for time being.

OMV for some jap is at $20k. Additional tax paid (using your formula) = 1.237 * $20k = $25K. So, tell me whether the tax is high or not.

A made in Indonesia Freed costs $84.8k. Doesn't make sense. Besides, the specs aren't much better compared to PI's Freed.

The PI's FREED is CVT, whereas the FREED imported by KM from Indonesia is 5 speed Auto

that..i can personally vouch for it..it(the kijang) is almost 14yo..never had any major problems..quality-wise also good..all the interior components still attached and working..

Hehe, he is talking about cost which is 2.237 as it include OMV. I am talking about additional tax we paid due to OMV and hence it is 1.237.
