Hi all..

When i drive.. usually around a few minutes later, the CEL will be switched on.

Can it be cause of the exhaust..?

Cause my exhaust needs welding..

It is making sounds when i drive..

Or could it be something else?

Please advise...

The problem lies in you cos you dun want to bring it to a mechanic to check and rectify. Even if you post 10000000001 questions here, ppl can only guess. Good luck.

Tmr ask your mechanic and you shall find out.

I think you are mistaken. Many of us here are just car users like yourself, not car mechanics. There are lots of possibilities on problems for CEL to be on. And only the mechanic is qualify to find out what's wrong.

Dun loose sleep over it. It can be just a minor problem.

find your friendly workshop do a Diagnostic check with the OBDII and get the code to find out more.

CEL light can mean many things. With the code it will be much easier to get feedback from fellow bros here.

Just a check, did you switch your petrol grade to a lower one recently? It happened to my colleague where this lights came about. After switching it back to the grade that he used to use, the lights just went off. Dont ask me why cos it just happened this way.
