Espire 1st Gear July 27, 2009 Share July 27, 2009 Here we go again..... Changes in ERP charges By Maria Almenoar SEVERAL Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) charges will be revised from next Monday. The Land Transport Authority has completed its quarterly review of the traffic conditions and found traffic on two sections of road unsatisfactory. Higher charges will therefore be imposed on the Central Expressway gantry north of Braddell Road from 7am to 7.30am. The current rate of $1 will be increased to $2. Motorists will also have to pay more in the morning from 7.30am to 8am on the East Coast Parkway at the two gantries heading to the city. The current rate of $1.50 will be raised to $2. But rates will go down at 12 gantries. The gantries that form the Bugis-Marina Centre cordon and the Northbound Singapore River Line will have reduced rates on Saturdays during the periods of 2pm to 3pm and 5pm to 5.30pm. These rates will be cut to $1 from Monday, from the current $2. http://www.straitstimes.com/Breaking%2BNew...ory_408591.html

Achtung 6th Gear July 27, 2009 Share July 27, 2009 The objective of this gripe is... WHY the INCREASE and we dont give 2 hoots about which other gantries have decrsed in ERP charges as the latter is likely to be places whereby the Govt is NOT MAKING $$. Why must the thread title be about ERP going up when ERP is also falling at some gantries? How about some objectivity?

Alim 1st Gear July 27, 2009 Share July 27, 2009 Why must the thread title be about ERP going up when ERP is also falling at some gantries? How about some objectivity? You working in LTA ah? Nothing wrong with the title what, CTE ERP going up..... the dot dot if you like, can interpret as "but 12 gantries reduce rates" I think CTE affect most drivers. After all, it is the most widely used expressway.
