Darth_mel 1st Gear July 24, 2009 Share July 24, 2009 Years back, carrot cake were big chunky and chow-tar on the edges unlike the heavily minced and watered we have nowadays. Those lau jiao will remember the famous one at the old Yaohan basement during the eighties. Anyone knows where can I relive those memories again ? ↡ Advertisement

Don't know the name but it's in the middle aisle, the stall closest to the main road and has a pink signboard. Listed on makan sutra as well. Yummy! Just had it on Sun. Byond 1st Gear September 17, 2009 Share September 17, 2009 that stall got bean sprouts right? U should try the stall on the left hand side if u are facing the stall that u are patronising the corner stall is still better in terms of taste and flavour... Many years ago, when i was staying in redhill, i always eat at the corner stall... until i moved to cck 13 years ago.. sometimes, i still go redhill if i wanan eat carrot cake. u should try the white colour carrot cake..the way they cooked, is really very fragrant... unlike those u find outside... I cannot describe the taste but its wonderful.. haha
