Because his criminal past has caught up with him?

He's on trial in the gang-bashing of an innocent, angelic, only son of mormon Christians/converted peace loving Buddhists, DJ at a nightclub.

It began today and will last two weeks, when is Liverpool s'posed to be here? Let's hope it's more than two weeks eh?

Quote from the British papers:

Gerrard, of Formby, Merseyside, is jointly charged with Accrington Stanley footballers goalkeeper Ian Dunbavin, 28, of Guildford Road, Southport and midfielder Robert Grant, 18, of Enstone Road, Litherland.

Also on trial are John Doran, 29, of Woodlands Road, Ian Smith, 19, of Hilary Avenue, John McGrattan, 33, of Rimmer Avenue, and Paul McGrattan, 31, of Linden Drive, all of Huyton, Merseyside.

The trial is scheduled to last between two and three weeks.

Guess its almost certain Gerrard will not be here. Barring an early end date to the trial.

Well, tickets should be reduced to half. lolx.

To me, Gerrard = Liverpool.

Liverpool = Gerrard.

But on the bright side, Alonso has joined the team to Bangkok today. So a huge sigh of (temporary)relief for the fans for now.

Tickets should cut by more than half. Taking Sporeans here for a ride...

=================

Latest Update :

Fernando Torres would play only a limited role during the club's tour of Thailand & Spore.

Alonso might not make the trip here to play the Lions on Sun if his transfer to Real Madrid materialises.

Due to his superstar status in Liverpool, his trial date was set after the last season and he cant afford to be charged or else he wont be kicking any ball for the new season.

Stevie had off the field incident during his young days and prob some were not reported at all. Finally he has to face the music this time.
