Sony 1st Gear July 16, 2009 Share July 16, 2009 That is not the new annex. Actually it's another shopping centre called K1 or something like that. But agree the Korean restaurant (Top floor I think) there quite good, esp ginseng chicken. from the street map, it's actually square 2, while velocity is beside novena sq.. which I think is actually the same bldg. ↡ Advertisement

Kxbc Turbocharged July 17, 2009 Share July 17, 2009 Bro, go to the one at Amoy Street lah....Called the Red Pig cheap and good, some more it's served by KimChi... I think the one you had mentioned is at the shophouse area and is frequented by busloads of tourists? I heard that one is not bad. For me, the kimchi and other small "tapas" served non-stop before and during the meal is good indication of the food quality. So far, if those are good, overall food quality and experience is good. And vice versa. You should try the one on 2nd floor, Int'l Plaza at Tg Pagar too. Good. Owned by a Korean woman. Even my South Korean counterparts said it was good when they visited. Lightspeed Clutched July 17, 2009 Share July 17, 2009 I love Korean food ... my other half and I are hooked onto it Try Su Korean... food is pretty good. They have a branch at Far East Plaza, Boat Quay and a newly opened one at the Jurong Bird Park (Jurong Hill). http://www.sukorean.com/ http://lightspeedzone.net/blog/su-korean-cuisine/ If you're going for cheap and good, can try Han Fung at Cheong Chin Nam Road (Opposite Beauty World) The place is run by a Korean couple. http://www.singaporemirror.com.sg/co_hanfung.htm Ju Shing Jung's quality is good... but it's a little on the expensive side The vegetables provided for wrap alone is mind boggling... http://ddoraijd.dothome.co.kr/ http://lightspeedzone.net/blog/ju-shin-jun...n-charcoal-bbq/ There are of 'cos others worth checking out, like the one at Dempsey, Arirang @ Liang Seah, Crystal Jade Ginseng Chicken @ Ngee Ann... etc. etc. Just naming a few that I've stuck to for the last few years
