which one can last the longest? and will it cause the aircon to have a sour smell if you stop using it?

or is it better to buy those $2 charcoal deodorant from daiso?

depends on the driver and the non-human or non-organic permanent residents in the car. [lipsrsealed]

if your car is as sterile as a surgical knife and you bathe regularly and do not sweat much when driving (ie. car aircon working and on all the time) ambi pure and glade sport should work fine. btw glade sport runs out of smell in less than 2 weeks.

if your car is the home for your socks, shoes and spare casual/formal attire (i admit, mine is), use the charcoal thingy to remove the odor by parking your car in the sun for a few hours, then use ambi pure or smt. i kinda like the ambi pure air fresheners, check out the cool 'carbon fiber' cover yo! may want to get one soon. ~$15 from esso i think?

wow, glade sports run out of smell in 2 weeks? then its not economical to buy the refill.

Yah... i use both before and Glade at max last 3 weeks before the container is totally empty. Ambi Pur definately last longer.

I realised these perfume evapourate faster in sg. Last time I remembered the same can last for months and my car used to be full of this smell and it sticks on you. In SG, it doesn't happens. Maybe because it's too hot or maybe humidity matters if the smell sticks or you or not.

i think those $2 charcoal deodorant from daiso is the most economical. atl least it won't dry up so fast.

Supercharged
(edited)

if want to prevent smell, install activated carbon (normal charcoal is useless) aircon filters,

and turn off aircon + set blower to high a few mins before reaching destination.

all those perfumes contain Volatile Organic Compounds that are not good for health,

even to the extent of being carcinogenic.
