Is this kind of postings and advice potentially disastrous to a forum? If it is from the team of mod. Seems like getting more and more biased, It feels like an association rather than a forum.

 

Another question, as I don't surf other sites, why am I catching lots of spyware tracking cookies in this PC? Sometimes I even received virus emails.

 

Overall my opinion is Gadgeter is a great moderator. He has been doing a great job as we can see from his postings how he calmly handled many issues.

Hi Gad, I appreciate your efforts in keeping this forum going on, and that we generally have peace such that people's posts are accepted and heard...I do think though, that there are times when some people will post factually wrong info, incomplete info, lop sided views which would require a response.

 

I'm not just talking about politically related views (which should rightly not be posted at all), but when someone comments in the forum about things they know nothing about (an eg being the case of defamation case where mods were alleged to have recieve monetary compensation), I merely pointed out that such an act may be responded to by a lawsuit because it defames the integrity of the mods.

 

If someone like Hishercar comes in claiming that I was wrong in my observation/opinion, he is welcome to show proof why I am wrong. The fact is that he cannot, because he does not know what he is talking about. If other forummers are led to think that he is right, then it will cause a lot more downstream problems for you and the mods.

 

Bottomline is, forummers here must understand that there are consequences to their postings. If wrong info from hishercar is perpetuated (that you are making a big joke if you sue someone who defames you), then he will cause more grief to others in this forum. That is my motivation for posting...to point out errors where I see them...,

 

I have not seen any postings by him, in answer to my questions...Thanks for hearing me out.

 

I quoted the above from another forumer that posted in "Will the "LIGHTS" go out immediately after 5 Chocolate bars". So this post should be before my post #181, but don't know somehow it was gone, and I don't know why. So may I requote again. Anyway I don't know what this forumer has done that few of you condemn HHcar, is it just political or what? May someone enlighten us.

 

By the way what he says about mod being paid whatever should not constitute to a legal suit, as he is not refering mod taking undertable, bribe or whatever, right? Maybe all were confused by what was read in some other posts, and some other just pick it up and started these.......

So to exchange words all over the forum is not allowed? Relating or not relating to the topic? How about name calling and such? TCSS is allowed, even if not relating to the topic?
