I am looking to change to RS 02 for the next change. The price I got was like $2xx, not from RE 001, size 21550/17.

Other bro please advise. Thank u

I'm now on rs sport. Frankly, i'm quite impressed. Used to be on re01r all the way up to the time they stopped production early this year. Leong seng introduce me to rs sport telling me that it's similar to re01r and it's used by quite a number of his customers for track. It's almost $70 cheaper per tyre compared to re01r. Of course, not in the league of bridgestone but the saving are very significant especially if you do track

That day while accompanying my Kaki to Pxh Hxng for rims & tyre change, have checked with the Towkay Kia that it cost around S$150 for 215/45r17 for RS 02 [nod][nod][nod]

The threads on RS Sport looks fierce ... [inlove][inlove][inlove]

How's the grip on dry & wet?

Is it as [thumbsup] as what the official Goodyear's website has claimed [gossip]

Fantastic in dry and ok in wet.

I used to use RE001 and then AD07. RS Sport outperforms RE001 anytime in both dry and wet conditions, is about the same as AD07 in dry and better than AD07 in wet. Bang for buck tire.

I've already tracked 3 times with RS Sport, so far very happy with the tire. Only gripe is that it wears out too fast when used on track. Can last around 5-6 hot laps in PG before tires overheat. Additionally, tires are noisy... humming sound at low speeds. Typical of performance tires though...

Thanks for your input Bro [thumbsup]

Now at least i've got a better idea on which range does the RS Sport belongs to [nod][nod][nod]

I think it's very good value for money. So far the grip is always there regardless whether wet or dry. It get better when it starts to wear. tried it on both b roads and track, no complain. But i think that they don't wear nicely but then again, at that price, i think it's the best tyre. [thumbsup]

How much have you gotten for yours & what's the tyre size [bounce1][bounce1][bounce1]

If price is not much difference from Revspec RS02, most likely i will settle for this RS Sport [nod]

Yup i agree. They don't wear nicely. On my 2nd track session, in fact the some parts of the skin started peeling off.

The side of the grooves have almost completely worn off! If i have time i will take a photo later.

I'm guessing that RS02 would be better in the wet. RS Sport are actually semi slick compounds, but unlike ur usual semi slicks, they have additional grooves in the centre of the tire to disperse water, so they perform better in the wet than conventional semi slicks.

Still gotta be careful la....haha

If u dun track, RS02 would be a better choice as a sporty street tyre. I'm on these rite now and grip is ok. When boost off the lights, no wheelspin (ok lah, traction control was on) compared to my previous set of tomyam F1s which were struggling for grip. The RS02s are fairly comfy at 33psi and noise tolerable but gotta pump up to 36psi for it to perform.
