The number to call for reemption is 81500827! Is this the same one?
Lex250 Clutched July 2, 2009 Share July 2, 2009 yes I got those as well....just ignore them...no such thing as freebies....in fact i think of making some perverted phone calls to the number LOL
Vextan 1st Gear July 2, 2009 Share July 2, 2009 anything that requires you to attend a sales presentation is not to be believed. timeshare is one product that not one consumer has ever benefitted from it. it is the best scam in the world. you pay $20k to buy a timeshare program, who really has the time to go to the exotic holiday places with their entire family ? and you have to pre-book in advance and pay for the flight, it doesnt come cheap. Dwoon 1st Gear July 2, 2009 Share July 2, 2009 I've benefitted and am continuing to do so..... unless you know the entire industry inside-out...... it is not wise to make sweeping statements.
Vextan 1st Gear July 2, 2009 Share July 2, 2009 (edited) I've benefitted and am continuing to do so..... unless you know the entire industry inside-out...... it is not wise to make sweeping statements. it doesnt require someone to be in the industry to know that it is a big scam job. when you receive the emails from nigerian claiming to want to share their inheritance with you, you know it is a scam even though you are not part of it. so how much you paid and how many times have you visited the resorts ? Dwoon 1st Gear July 2, 2009 Share July 2, 2009 So far have paid about SGD55K. Got another 47 years to go. I've visited the resorts 5 times and am booked for Bangkok in 3 months time and also 2010 CNY week in Phuket. I've access to more than a thousand hotels worldwide under their brand. Planning for Hawaii & Tokyo using their points to even redeem air tickets for the trip. Oh... incase you're mistaken... its not under Dynamic Travel

Oh... incase you're mistaken... its not under Dynamic Travel whether it is dynamic travel or whatever guise that come under, they have the same modus operandi. unless and until you have actually used their facility of more than 55k worth, you have not actually benefitted it yet. just cross you finger it doesnt wind up before that. also, i believe you have to pay yearly membership fee or something like that ? seriously, nowadays go phuket and bangkok how much is it worth ? three hundred ? these days it is more worth while and cheaper to buy a package from travel agent including the air fair because it is cheaper than just buying air ticket alone plus the accomodation separately, and in your case, upfront payment of 55k for future accomodation. Dwoon 1st Gear July 2, 2009 Share July 2, 2009 Well.... they've been around for more than 25 years...... Breakeven, I've calculated to be around 18 years for me. In fact, thousands have benefitted..... your statement "anything that requires you to attend a sales presentation is not to be believed. timeshare is one product that not one consumer has ever benefitted from it. it is the best scam in the world. " doesn't hold true.
Dwoon 1st Gear July 2, 2009 Share July 2, 2009 (edited) Well, what is better proof than I pose you a challenge to get a cheaper deal trom the travel agents, for the same hotel/resort, over the same booking period and air travel using the same airlines. For your info, the phuket and bangkok rooms will run you more than SGD350 per night in the open market. Besides, choice of destination is upto the individuals. As I said, it is worldwide...... phuket & bangkok are just my personal preferences and I'm not restricted to these 2 places. seriously, nowadays go phuket and bangkok how much is it worth ? three hundred ? these days it is more worth while and cheaper to buy a package from travel agent including the air fair because it is cheaper than just buying air ticket alone plus the accomodation separately, and in your case, upfront payment of 55k for future accomodation. This itself is already a big disadvantage over the next 47 years. Edited July 2, 2009 by Vextan
Vextan 1st Gear July 2, 2009 Share July 2, 2009 (edited) look at sunshine empire, how much has it fleeced from it's members ? it operates the same modus operandi, pay huge amount now and then later you can go to all those exotic places. and it does offer these benefits to members so as to show the video slides during the presentation, so as to attract new members to join. but when the membership base becomes too large, they fold and then come out with another company. what guarantee is there that these companies will be still in business in the next 40 over years ? and put it this way, if you are 35 years of age for example, 35 years later you are 70 yrs of age, do you think you can still travel afar and not be walking slowly with clutches ? might as well say give you another 100 years of membership. Dwoon 1st Gear July 2, 2009 Share July 2, 2009 There is no guarantee... but the fact that they are listed on the New York & Chicago stock exchange.... with 360 mil 2008 net profits.... does account for something. And with more places in the list of hotels I can ever visit in my lifetime..... choice is not an issue. Shows how much you know about legitimate timeshare. Those you refer to are scams. Those you refer to are scams. right. and madoff's investment company and worldcom that are listed in the ny stock exhange is therefore also legitimate. that shows how naive you are. but they have ripped billions. wise up, being listed in ny stock exchange doesnt necessary mean it is not a scam, but if it turns out to be a scam, then it is a really big scam like madoff and worldcom . you see, timeshare is like madoff's investment company operates in the same way, they use new investors' money to pay dividends to existing investors, so that potential investors believe in the good returns and so will join in, and this is where their returns actually comes from, but in actualily there is no returns but from the comney they collect from the investors. their dividends actually comes from the new scam victims. timeshare is the same, you pay up front a huge amount, and slowly reap the dividend while other investors are being conned. what is most pathetic is, those being conned they still receive the dividend and they think they have, or rather , will earn back the investment over the next few decades. little do they know that when the bubble becomes to large and the dividends that need to be paid out to the members becomes too big, they will not be able to sustain and will eventually burst. companies with no real tangible returns from the monies they collect will definately call the day when the game is up.
