prices are better at ntuc amk hub. wide variety, not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive.

Depends on what u are looking for, otherwise Giant, ntuc hypermart or carrefour carry quite a good range of the basic stuffs. No need to specially travel down to autobacs.

I went to AMK NTUC extra last weekend and bought my Amourall car wash which usually sells for S$11+ but over there its S$8+.

Concorde Auto at Kallang Pudding area. Be aware that not everything is cheap though.

Really? Do you have any pictures? I just went there a few days ago, but did not see it. Perhaps just did not pay notice to its surroundings. Anyway, thanks for the headsup. Will look around more when i go there again.

try silent. go there and BROWSE only. DONT buy stuff that you can find elsewhere or anything that requires installation especially their rearview mirrors. stuff on offer still ok. downthere weekends got chio bu serving cotton candy and popcorn. =)

 

just remember to go there with the intention to BROWSE not to BUY. even autobacs where the price is ALOT higher than smaller workshops.

yeah, i tend to agree that car wash and accessories at carrefour or ntuc extra are usually cheaper than places at autobacs especially the former do hold promotion at times plus 5% cash rebate using certain credit cards somemore. The only downside with those hypermarts are varieties.

 

I always remember I bought a $18 P-Plate(3M) at Autobacs thinking that it was supposed to be the cheapest since it was the biggest automart in sinapore and economies of scale occured and translate into cheaper prices... but I was dead wrong.. just few days later, i discovered that the petrol station beside BBDC sold the similar type(3M) for only $13. Since then, I do not take things at autobacs for granted.....

 

So the important point to be compare price and take note of promotion.... consumer beware.

yup, used to go to only Autobacs for my car accessories shopping, well, a big mistake.... now i treat that place as last resort.
